Withdrawal of Manuscript

Authors are generally discouraged from withdrawing submitted or published manuscripts, except under exceptional circumstances. Manuscript withdrawal may result in an inefficient use of editorial and reviewer resources that have been devoted to the evaluation and processing of the submission.

In cases where withdrawal is still requested, authors are required to submit an official Article Withdrawal Form that has been completed and signed by all contributing authors or by the corresponding author on behalf of the author group, along with a clear explanation of the reasons for withdrawal. A manuscript should not be considered withdrawn until formal confirmation has been issued by the editorial office. The withdrawal form can be obtained by contacting the journal administration.

It is considered unethical to withdraw a manuscript from one journal after it has been accepted or published by another journal.
